MY EXPERIENCE DURING INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT.

Media profession does not only require theoretical skills but more so practical skills.It is a requirement by Technical university of Mombasa for the students to proceed to industrial attachments before their graduation.

 Pushed by zeal and zest towards becoming a journalist,I applied for my industrial attachment at Mutongoi TV located at Machakos town but in vain due to late application.I applied at ENE Fm located at Wote in Makueni county.

Lucky enough my application went through.I was happy to begin my attachment purposely to get basic skills required in different areas in media.At first,I was sonervous but after two to three days I caught up.At firs I worked in the news room where I first trained on news translation from Kiswahili and English to native Kamba language.

After just a week I was able to write script news worthy to go on air. My news team had to give a pat on my back for tremendous work.Soon I was allowed to go on air.The first time I read the news I was a bit nervous but after more bulletin I was comfortable.My audience together with the administration congratulated me for my good voice and quality news. I continued working on voice out put,pauses,interjections,punctuation marks among others until I became one of the best news refers.

I also trained on audio editing. At first I had some challenges but later on I could edit effectively.I also Co hosted the morning show.I improved on audience participation,creativity and on operating the console board.In addition I learnt how to work with others by creating good rapport with  news team and the administration at large.

I also improved on communication skills becoming a better public speaker.Media profession requires practical skills which are inevitable for media students.

HEART TORMENTING BULLET THAT KILLED MY DATING DESIRES.

WHO WILL WIPE THE TEARS OF THE WEEPING GIRL CHILD!

The girl child has equal rights which should be respected just as the rights of other people. Girl child abuse is cruelty and unfair treatment.Today the girl child has been subjected to suffering denying her the privilege to enjoy their rights.The following are ways in which the girl child has been tortured : 1.Sexual abuse.
